No one has been able to discover the identity of the screeching singer of this Del Shannon-esque dance number. The internet has nicknamed him "Mr. Eraserhead".
Neil Young fans note: the blond-haired male dancer at :33 is future Crazy Horse guitarist Danny Whitten.

I've seen this elsewhere, although I've been unable to verify it other than with this article from Circus magazine which is hardly definitive...but:
The first guitarist to perform in public with a wahwah pedal was legendary MLB Hall-of-Famer Maury Wills.
(pictured here with fellow musician/baseball player Jim "Mudcat" Grant)

I wonder where that photo came from? That's really early, he's only a couple of weeks from a real haircut. Is that one of Echo's?

Elvis's Suspicious Minds was recorded in Memphis in January'69, produced mostly by Chips Moman. When the horns were overdubbed in Vegas by Elvis' normal producer Felton Jarvis in August '69, he mixed it and put in the fade out/fade back in on the track... then sent it off to be mastered and put to vinyl. Moman was furious and hated how it sounded from then on. It was Elvis' last #1 hit on the Billboard charts.

"Rosanna" is not the only iconic 80's song written about Rosanna Marquette. She was also the inspiration for "In Your Eyes" by Peter Gabriel.

Eric Clapton wrote Wonderful Tonight while waiting for his wife to get dressed for a night out. "Yes, you look wonderful tonight are you ready yet?"
Neil Young had a recording contract with Motown.
Prince's When Doves Cry has no bass guitar on the track.

I just watched a Gordon Lightfoot documentary, and it was fascinating to learn about these associations.

Guitarist Kirk Hammett usually slept in the bunk occupied by bassist Cliff Burton on the night Metallica's tour bus crashed, killing Burton. Hammett lost the prize bunk to Burton in a game of cards played just before bedtime.
Metallica's career would look very different had Burton survived and Hammett was lost. Many say Burton would've steered the band from the Load phase; Hammett wrote the main riff to Enter Sandman, the song which propelled the band into the commercial stratosphere...
