Liberals face no backlash for injecting their politics into everything. Quite the opposite actually, they are praised for doing so.

Leftists are very good at lying to themselves. They convince themselves that their policies, after centuries of failure, will actually work. They believe hashtag activism, cancel culture, and race baiting actually help the poor and downtrodden get ahead. They are convinced that people like Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden will deliver on nationalized healthcare, free college, and a number of other commie wet dreams. They think crushing dissent, silencing speech, and demonizing alternative beliefs will bring everyone together. They think letting a few million Chincanos into our country will end global poverty when over a billion people globally are living on less than 2 bucks per day.
In the end, its really not about helping anyone. They never actually do anything. Posting hashtags, changing your Twitter avatar, or even burning a courthouse in Portland doesn't help the little people they claim to champion. Yet they are absolutely convinced that only they can guide the ignorant colored masses to prosperity from the comfort of their keyboards.
Its about that little emotional boner they all get when they virtue signal this way... when they tell us how to live our lives, who are our "enemies", or who are the winners and losers in the world. And that's really all they care about. They are the most selfish people on earth.

They spread it nonstop. (On TV, in movies, in shows, books, cartoons..)

They congregate and discuss it. (Twitter, Facebook, coffee shops, TikTok, Instagram, schools, colleges)
Have a history of violence in the name of it. (Riots, “peaceful protests”, Weather Underground, autonomous zones)
Have to fund it. (Govt kickbacks, book advances, gofundme, payoffs, green energy scams, “non-profits”, foundations)
Excused steps outside of the teachings if you repent and remain faithful. (Gore and Kerry on their mansion living and private jet flying lifestyle, socialist Sanders and his rich lifestyle, Warren in her taking advantage of the lie she was a minority, past common sense tweets from current lib loons)
Threats if you desert it. (See Clarence Thomas, Ben Carson, Tim Scott, any minority who speaks in disfavor of the religion of liberalism)
Salvation if you submit. ( Ralph Northam, Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, John McCain)
Have a book. (Rules for radicals, communist manifesto, Cuba libre)
Even have their own preachers. (Jessie Jackson, Al Sharpton, Raphel Warnock)

I don't know who Dennis Prager is or what he espouses, but this is pretty straightforward.
Liberalism - Preference for individual liberty
Leftism - Preference for collectivist security.
Leftism/Progressivism is inherently authoritarian and fundamentally incompatible with individual liberty. The truth is that most collectivist 100% support authoritarian government, so long as that authority agrees with them. Such has been true for the majority of human history, especially among the downtrodden, so it should come as no surprise that hundreds of millions of Americans feel that way.

Liberals put politics into everything because it creates whole new classes of "victims".
Pretty much ANYTHING you're unhappy about in your life can be solved by a Demcorat.
Didn't get a promotion? The reason is anything BUT your actual job performance. Maybe you're woman, black, Hispanic, trans or other, THAT is the reason you were passed over.
Stinky feet? You're a victim of fungal discrimination.
Flat tire? Well hell, you're a victim of white supremacy and the dealership sold you crap tires because he could.
