It's called basketball i.q....this is how I knew we would lose. All it took me was to watch a couple of games to know lsu isn't next level, not yet. Until lsu plays with a higher basketball iq, we will continue to have seasons like this. Don't get me wrong being in the playoffs every year is nice but the teams that play a smart game usually go to the final 16/8/4 more often

Looking at the game I didn't see anyway we would stop them. We had to double dickerson in the post. Which is always going to leave someone open. I just thought we were screwed If mich made shots and they did.

The only thing I could think of is maybe just letting dickerson eat you Alive and try and take him out by fouls.

Eli brooks season high was 17 prior to tonight. He had 21 tonight, and set a career high in threes made.

That tends to happen when you leave a player wide open from three point range the whole night. That was the single biggest lack of adjustment in my mind. He killed us.

In a 5 game series Michigan probably wins 3. The big men and lack therefore for LSU make a difference.

Are y’all serious? We played almost as well as we can in 1H and we’re down at half. We had 3 turnovers the whole game! Watford playing like he did and Days with under 10 points is not a rare occurrence.

Michigan was a better TEAM; they have so many more options than us and passed the ball great.

We threw a lot of haymakers but they responded like the strong team they are.

Great game Tigers! This is why being an 8 seed sucked

The difference was LSU went cold during the middle of the second half and only scored 1 point over a 5 minute stretch. And they had several opportunities to score but missed floaters in the lane, Watford missed Free throws, etc, etc. You can't score nothing for 5 Minutes in the second half against the 1 seed and expect to win. The same thing happened in the first half except it was a four minute stretch. So LSU went 9 minutes in a 40 minute game only scoring a point. The officials made some horrible calls but the fact that LSU only lost by 8 when only scoring for 32 minutes makes the point. Had they not gone cold for so long this game, they win.

He should have been in foul trouble much sooner than he was, and it took him committing a stupid foul from behind at mid court that they absolutely just couldn’t let go to get him to the point where he had to be taken out.

Flash back to the first game of the season against the Crimson Devils.

I choose not to type out the actual name of the school, because if there are any LSU Athletes on here, they'll be traumatized by seeing A-----A. (Judging by their winless records against all A-----A teams so far this year)

BTW, A-----A took care of business tonight against Maryland, 96-77.
