Definitely should dine on the Riverwalk one night. The restaurants are touristy but you should def do it.
The Alamo is pretty obvious. It’s smaller than you think.
The Pearl Brewery has cool restaurants and shops around it.

Pick a restaurant at Pearl and then do a short margarita crawl ending at Hotel Emma bar.

Mi Tierra’s is always a pretty popular place to eat. However, there may be a little wait to get in. You can also get breakfast at The Guenther House. Their pancakes are incredible.

Absolutely Mi Tierra
Are the river boat tours running? Those are kinda cheesy but pretty fun.
If you have a car, drive out to TX wine country and do a couple of tours.

Menger Hotel bar next to Alamo. Lots of history. Feels like you’re in an old western or lonesome dove.

Definitely Mi Tierra, plus the fact that it’s in one of SA’s coolest sections, Historic Market Square. Lot of fun. Try a Michelada down there; it’s like a Mexican Bloody Mary.
Pete’s has great breakfast tacos in the downtown area so you don’t have to leave the city, and breakfast tacos from a hole in the wall shop is something you need to try. Breakfast tacos are a big deal there. Lengua tacos are hard to beat.
If you leave the city to explore, New Braunfels and Gruene are close enough, and completely different vibes than SA. They have a cowboy/German feel, and you’ll get a little taste of the Hill Country. The Comal and Landa Park are worth seeing. Keep traffic in mind though. It’s no joke.

I agree on El Mercado and Mi Tierra. Definitely have breakfast tacos one morning. They are certainly a San Antonio thing. I live in Houston and nobody here has as good as San Antonio. The tortillas are fabulous!
The Riverwalk is fun! Just don't plan on eating there too many meals because it's not known for it's food. It is mostly touristy and not that great. But hanging out and drinking while enjoying the view and people watching? Yes, please!
