Probably not the right time, but with the increased activity why not ask the question

I don’t think there’s anyone on this team that SHOULD go, but guys like Cam and Watford I can definitely see going to the league. Cam seems to be somewhere late 1st to early 2nd. Personally I feel like that can be improved upon, but maybe that’s enough for him. Sam Vecenie has Watford at #74 on his big board. Maybe that changes after today or with Watfords play in the NCAA Tourney, but if he is undrafted or a late 2nd rounder I would hope he comes back to school.

Javonte and Days have developed into really good college players, but I don’t think either are particularly on the NBA’s radar, and both have already been here 3 years so what is one more?

Days will likely return. Too small and inconsistent shooter/rebounder to be a stretch guy or pick and pop. Watford, Thomas, and Smart are all gone.

Watford is long gone. He made himself some money with that performance today

Cam/Javonte/Watford are likely gone. Days imo is a question mark.

Next year, we'll likely have a bottom-up roster, compeared to a top heavy roster we have this season.

Watford and Thomas are gone. Days and Smart should come back, but Javonte has things he needs to take care of outside of basketball so he’ll probably go. It’s gonna be a very different team next year for sure.

Wade has said he’s going to fill the roster some with transfers, so he’s obviously expecting at least Watford, Thomas, and Smart to go.

Yup. Days will probably return

Thomas is projected as a mid first round pick. Somewhere between 18-22

Watford is currently not even in the top 60 nba prospects. If he plays like he did today and we make some noise get to the second weekend, etc, he may up his draft stock. I’d lean leaving but could return

Smart depends how bad he needs money. Will be headed overseas if he leaves

So far our team is shaping up to be

PG/SG: Gaines/Cook/Murray
SF: Wilkinson/Hyatt
PF: Days/Leblanc/Colbert
C: Gray/Ezewiro

In January, transfer Seneca Knight will be eligible.

I’d imagine our lineup early in the season would look like

Gaines
Murray
Hyatt/Wilkinson
Days
Colbert

Bench:
Leblanc
Cook
Ezewiro
Gray
Hyatt/Wilkinson
O’Neal

I’m halfway expecting Gray to transfer. Some reason Wade hates true big men. If Smart comes back, I think we have a team capable of finishing in the top 4 of the SEC again. If not, I’d hope Wade tries to add another Guard. Seems like the biggest issue facing next years team is scoring. The good news is everyone we having coming in will be multi year guys

We’re looking short on scoring next year. Someone(s) going to have to step up big time.

Cam and watford absolutely gone. I’m the biggest smart fan in the world but his shot won’t translate to the league, he has no jump on it he should stay. Days stays

Yup. Apparently Brandon Murray Coming in is a scorer. Like I said if Smart doesn’t come back, we will definitely need to add some grad transfers or maybe he can pull a tremont waters out of his back pocket last second like he did the first year. We will need someone though because Gaines/cook/Hyatt/Wilkinson are not score first players.

You're forgetting about Alex Fudge, who's already on the roster and redshirting. He's going to be a significant factor on the team.

We're built for Smart to return. Thomas and Watford are expected to leave. Smart coming back makes next year's team as good as anybody in the country.

If Smart goes out we need a guard - either a point guard who can shoot or a legit scoring 2-guard. Though Knight is intriguing as a potential poor man's Thomas in terms of being able to create his own shot.

But they'll be more post-oriented next year. That, plus they'll be long and athletic and deep and they might leverage that into playing a 94-foot game and pressing people to death.

I really haven’t seen this anywhere. The best draft guys all have him late first early second.

In my opinion there is nothing broken with Gaines shot. I think WW can get him to a 12 a game next year. He will be brutal in a full court press. He can be wild but I also think he has potential to add rebounding from his position with that length and quickness.

I forgot about Fudge and need to go back and look at that tape. If my memory serves the kid is a playmaker.

Yeah I forgot about fudge.

We will definitely have big men that can run. Colbert seems to be light on his feet. With Fudge, Leblanc, and Colbert... we’ll have three 6’7-6’8 guys than can move. Could be a nasty press and fix some defensive issues

Smart watford thomas and days are gone. I think days and smart should return but will leave bc how much more will they be able to improve at lsu than they have already with this team? If they haven't gotten it by now, they won't get drastically better in just another season. They will go to the g league or whatever and improve their game there, unless they want to get their degree that badly. They are all going to leave if I had to bet.
