My 14 year old wears hoodies in the summer. It's definitely a kid/teen thing now.

I guess I did whore myself out sometimes with Nike gear (not punk).
The difference between these is negligible. Branding is branding. You wearing a NOFX shirt would only be slightly different. You'd still be advertising a product you like(d), even if that product is not universally recognized.

Well, I'll just have to get my manservant to write Warren and Kate a tasteful note of apology.

Funny thing is the only people that I ever saw wearing NASCAR jackets were black.

This just screams the antithesis of my 90s childhood. We have failed our children.
The hell are you talking about? Logo themed clothes were huge back then. Spencer's Gifts always had that kind of shite.

We had hand me down falstaff t shirts and fairgrounds race track tee shirts
And high school tee shirts.
But that’s about it. My mom didn’t like the whole free advertisement thing.

I bought a Callahan Brake Pads t-shirt and my son wore it to school and got a reaction from his teachers.

yeah 90's kids just wore clothes that said "Reebok" "Nike" and "Adidas". There is literally no difference.

I remember some older dudes supporting corporations in the seventies by wearing t-shirts with this on them.

Probably for ironic reasons, similar to the recent fad of black kids wearing metal band t-shirts.
