I think its absurd for people to get all bent out of shape at possibly postponing the football game. Its a damn game. We're talking about some millions of LA residents all along the state's coast that may be trying to evacuate their family and what not. Getting through baton rouge is nightmarish alone much less having a game and people evacuating. Whatever jindal feels necessary, I will support but oh my god, you are crying about a game against app st.

GIVE US A BREAK! The damn storm won't hit for SEVERAL days SOMEWHERE. There is PLENTY of time to get the hell out of dodge!

your problem is you think the two are mutually exclusive or whatever that term be.

Storm may not hit until Tue/Wed. With that approach, why not play road games each year until late October ?

i understand where you're coming from, but people are overreacting right now. the damn thing won't even be past cuba when they start the game. it would be nice to watch the game before i have to deal with evacuating and the possibility of my apartment flooding

I THINK IT'S ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS TO GO IN TO "FREAK OUT" MODE BEFORE THE STORM GETS INTO THE GULF !!

WHERE ARE PEOPLE GOING TO EVACUATE TO ?? EAST OR WEST. SEND PEOPLE RIGHT INTO THE STORM ??? LAST TIME I CHECKED I-10 RUNS EAST TO WEST.

You got coastal parishes already starting evacuation procedures. Some folks may have to make multiple trips doing various things. Businesses have to do multiple things to get ready across the state. Whats the damn point of taking a chance of slowing any of the damn preparations down for a football game. Its nonsense.

If there was a conflict with the game and the state emergency plans, I would agree with you

But there isn't. Therefore I can conclude that the game cancellation is sheer hysterics.

I'm chill. I'm saying i'll trust jindal with the decision but the people who need to chill are the people with the panties in a wad if the game is postponed.
