That was Marty’s punchline to Sheik’s story about hitting the girl.
Sheik went to hit her and she didn’t move because she wasn’t a good worker.

Can’t believe it took 3 pages to see this name. I think there’s numerous stories of Scott being a real problem bad arse. He and Rick were both known as super stiff workers from an in ring bad arse perspective as well.
Meng is legendary.
Taker has to be there because of his toughness in the ring/injuries and you’ve got to be a badass to basically run the whole locker room and everyone know not to cross you.
Foley may not be getting into bar fights, but he deserves mention for the sheer brutality and pain he willingly/requested to endure.
Lesnar - seems obvious, but add in ufc and the program with, I think Cena, where he legit busted his head open on the ring post in what was clearly him making it happen for the effects. He clearly moved his head into the post to create the contact.
ETA - Hardy’s and Edge and Christian in the ring/arena similar to Foley with the significant risks and pain they endured at their peak.

He was part of a whole crew of them who worked as bouncers at one particular bar in Minnesota.
Rude, both Road Warriors, Nikita Koloff, Nord The Barbarian, Scott Norton, etc.

That must've been a peaceful establishment.

Yeah and about half the stories are true or half of the stories are true...
Which still puts him far ahead of the pack.

My understanding is that the management was running a side business out of there.
Not sure if it was smoky green or powdered though.

If Andre the Giant had punched any other wrestler in the face, that wrestler's jaw would be wired shut for months or have no bone structure left, probably the latter.

Straight from Angle’s mouth:
“When I did wrestle Brock, the rumors fly around, but it was a very close match. Basically, whoever got the first takedown in the match it was going to be over and I, fortunately, got that takedown. It lasted 15 minutes and we went at it for a long time. I knew I would beat Brock. There’s a difference between a NCAA champion and Olympic gold medalist even if I did give up 80 pounds. Brock was about 310 pounds back then and I was about to 225, but I’ve always wrestled guys that size. I wrestled heavyweight in college, so I wasn’t new to it.”
“I think Brock knew that he got beat. Brock is the greatest athlete I’ve ever gotten in the ring with. He can be the best at whatever he wants to be. He was an NCAA champion, a UFC champion and he was one cut away from making an NFL team and without ever playing a game in his life. The Minnesota Vikings wanted him to go to NFL Europe for a year and come back. They were going to do a deal with him. He would’ve been a ten time All-Pro there’s no doubt about it. I know his capabilities and he has that kind of potential. He would’ve been a Hall of Famer in any sport he wanted to. To show that kind of versatility, not many people can do that. Brock is a special athlete not because he is so big and strong, but because he’s such a great damn athlete and one of the best I ever got in the ring with.”

Scott Steiner would certainly be a top seed in the roid rage division. Supposedly there were only two people Andre the Giant was scared of--Haku and Harley Race.
I did forget one detail in the Haku Baltimore bar incident. Haku bit off part of a guy's nose. Pretty sure that part is legit since the guy won a six or seven figure law suit against him later on.

Apparently in his heyday, Paul Orndorff could kick most anybody’s arse. I heard nobody messed with Kurt Angle based purely on his amateur wrestling credentials.

Always thought Dick Murdock would be tough in a fight

Steiners were bullies and pricks. A guy named Vordell Walker put an end to that.
I dont know how Vordell would stack up against Race or Meng, but that dude can shoot. If he decides to stretch you, it is not going to be a fun night.
He still makes the rounds of the Louisiana indy scene. Super nice guy, but he can kick the shite out of a lot of people.

I didn’t realize Andre was necessarily “tough” as much as just incredibly huge.

As stated prior, Orndorff wasn’t that tough; however, like Dynamite Kid, he never backed down from anyone. His “fight” with Vader is greatly exaggerated. Tony Atlas handled Orndorff fairly easily in their skirmish.
I also saw that someone mentioned Jacques Rougeau... definitely NOT a tough guy. His brother Raymond was a legit boxer and he was the tougher of the two. Jacques blindsided Dynamite with a fist full of coins and knocked all of Dyno’s teeth out and Dynamite didn’t go down. Dynamite was tough as shoe leather and was trained at the Snake Pit in Wigan but was a bully. After their altercation the Rougeaus immediately hauled arse because they knew Dynamite would be looking for revenge. The two teams were kept separate on subsequent cards. At the Survivor Series Dynamite planned to confront Jacques but the Rougeaus purposely got eliminated early and left the arena without even showering or anything. By the time the Bulldogs got to the back after the match, the Rougeaus were already gone.
