I heard a story one time that Brock Lensner wrestled Kurt Angle backstage once.

Kurt Angle pinned him inside a minute.

Not saying it didn't happen, but I find that very hard to believe. Lesnar has about 30-40lbs on Angle. Anyone who has ever wrestled competitively will tell you, a much bigger guy is going to give you major, major problems. Throw in the fact that Lesnar was a college champion and an All-American, I do not think there is a human alive or dead, that could pin him inside of a minute.

Sheik’s legit but he wasn’t in the Olympics as he claimed. I think he was second or third in his country when it came to wrestling (Iran is still has a great Olympic wrestling team)

He was a bodyguard for the Shah of Iran until the Islamic Revolution happened and he came to America

Not sure Id call doing dishes being in the biz but hey! I, too, was down that road once and you can have a lot of fun in that environment.

The answer here is New Jack. And it’s not really even close. He tried to kill a dude for real in the ring.

Twice. There was Mass Transit and the stabbing in the ring. Not to mention what he did to his own body.

Depends on what you mean by toughest. Mikey Whipwreck and Spike Dudley took a bump like no other.

If you mean who I wouldn't want to meet in an alley? Taz or Bam Bam.

That is a recurring theme. “Don’t frick with the island boys.”

Snuka, Afa and Sika, Barbarian, Haku / Meng, Umaga, etc.

As Tony Atlas put it, they’d beat the shite out of each other for fun. Probably why so many Polynesians do so well in the NFL.

Sheik IS legit but it is a lot harder to buy those stories coming from a cokehead than the guys who trained with him in the early 70s when he was in his prime.

Flair and Patera have talked about what a badass Sheik was at that time.

More than twice with New Jack.

Mass Transit (blade), Vic Grimes (attempted to throw Vic and miss the tables that would break the fall), and some kid down in Florida IIRC.

Doesn’t count him beating the living shite out of Gypsy Joe either.

No Kurt didn’t pin him, he won the match because he was able to secure a takedown on Lesnar. So he won by either points or what’s called advantage

No doubt he was, I think his oldest daughter had been murdered and since then he had spiraled out of control

Sheik was out of control LONG before then.

I think she died in the early 2000s and he had a rep for a massive drug problem going back to at least the mid-80s.

Yeah he did have a problem with the cocaine in the 80’s but so did several wrestlers.

His so called stories of him doing a handstand while snorting a 12 inch line of coke has to be bullshite

Although I do believe the story of him giving a clothesline to one of Marty janetty’s ring rats

If you listen to angle on Austin’s show on the network he even said he was able to take Lesnar down. I never said it was easy and he said it was difficult but in wrestling that would give you points or advantage
