What will people do for a living when everything is automated?

Will everyone code? Or become repair technicians? Or will everybody be in a medicinal field? How much automation in society is too much?

We'll be plugged into the Matrix as a power source for the machines.

Half of this country doesn't even work right now as it is. Not much will change. Just more money taken from those who produce and given to those who Vote Correctly.

I mentioned this in one of the threads the other day. I feel for young people, cause a lot of jobs won't exist that exist today, will be done by machines.

If you had ever worked in, on, or around machinery of any kind you would realize how silly this question is.
Automation generally increases output and productivity but as far as being able to replace a human it isn't the case in all but the most specific manufacturing tasks.

Netflix, Hulu, tikTok, wait on my check.
Pretty much what we are already doing for the most part save the few of us (80 million at least) that enjoy independent thought.

I'm gonna opt for Jennifer Connelly in her prime. I mean, she's still a beautiful woman, but 23 year old Jennifer Connelly was beautifuller.

The machines in the matrix screwed up.
They connected everyone into one world that they Had to make realistic.
Make everyone king of their own world and they’re not asking any questions.
People generally feel like they deserve anything they have.

quote:AI will be able to (and to some extent is already able to) produce music and art pleasing to the human ear and eye based purely on machine learning (training the AI to recognize patterns in what humans like and dislike). It’ll be interesting to see where it all leads.
You gonna automate creativity?
