has more offensive production this season than Arik Gilbert?

Odds are NOT GOOD but that would be cool to see Kole Taylor erupt this year. I hope he is busting his arse off right now getting ready for the season. He may not have come in with any hype but with a little work I think he could be a big time redzone threat at 6'7"

Word on the street is that he’s working hard, but the odds remain not in his favor.

He may not have the talent as Gilbert but being dependable and giving his best ain't bad.
He was highly rated also.

If he can improve his speed he will be great. He’s a huge body.

Taylor will be much better at TE blocking than that drama queen ever will be wherever he is. Arik may be elite at receiving but was abysmal trying to block. Taylor will be a great blocker and could be great at receiving. Been saying he gives big Foster Moreau vibes.

I thought Gilbert had to sit a year?

It was a shoe-in.

I saw a video of Kole Taylor's shoe watching game film looking for weak-minded opposing players to tempt next year (also, I saw his shoe bench press 350 lbs in the same video).

I hope we continue to use our TEs because it creates so many mismatches and puts the defense on its heels. I'm all for running double TEs and really forcing the defense into different setups that they are not used to running. It's all about keeping the defenses guessing and taking advantage of its mistakes. Of course, we have to first find a QB that can consistently get them the ball when the opportunity presents itself!

Gilbert might not even be eligible to play next season unless a rule is changed between now and then.

Kole Taylor with a K, comes all the way to LSU from Colorado. Trying to remember the last Colorado recruit. He signs with LSU driving by 20 FBS schools to come all the way to TigerLand and then gets to compete against the #1 Tight End recruit ever. Who does this?

Has the shoe game and is forever in LSU folklore. Florida made alot of mistakes, but who throws a shoe?

#1 true Freshman Tight End, after getting target after target and is a main focal point in LSU's offense decides to quit on his team and coaches.

The stars are aligning for Kole, with a K, to be a great Tiger.

Has good hands but needs work on routes. Blocking is average and will get better as he matures. Kid will play on sundays

If the offense is truly similar to 2019 & there are a lot of weapons to cover his production can be great. It’s not like Moss was as talented as Gilbert but put up great numbers.

I think he’ll have a decent year, but I’m really excited about Jack Bech. I think he could contribute a ton as a true freshman. Highlights vs Catholic
