Manhattan was a basketball power in the 1950s until they became entangled in a notorious point shaving scandal.

Cleveland State

Made the 1986 Sweet 16 led by Mouse McFadden. They knocked off 3 seed Indiana, and then beat 6 seed Saint Joseph's who had future NBA first rounder Mo Martin, before getting beat 71-70 by the aforementioned Naval Academy and David Robinson. They used the NCAAT money to build a new arena. Their coach Kevin Mackey became addicted to cocaine after the tourney.

Bradley made a run or 2 in their time.

When they can get the Peoria kids to stay in town, they can be a really good team.

Watching how pathetic Auburn had been for my entire lifetime, the Final Four run a couple years ago was the most random, fun thing I've personally been a witness to in my life.

Taking out Kansas, UNC, and Kentucky all in the same tourney was just incredible.

That's kind of cool in a way. I mean if your basketball career and program is going down the toilet it might as well be cocaine.

and almost every team in NCAA division 1 college basketball has made the tournament at some point.

William and Mary is one of the few schools that have been eligible for the tournament since it started never to make it.

Duquesne, along with Holy Cross, were originally invitees to the Big East. They declined. Bad idea.
