Texas director of recruiting Brandon Harris is the top candidate to join the L.A. Rams as an assistant QBs coach, according to my sources. Interviewed well and was offered the job. Rams are waiting for his decision. Texas is in danger of losing Harris after Bryan Carrington

Maybe he is better at teaching someone else how to play QB rather than playing it himself

Something about "Those who can, can. Those who can't, teach."
Good for him.
Good for him.

He must be a pretty good coach. That’s crazy considering the fact that no one at LSU knew how to coach him

I root for Harris and hope he does well. If you root against him for collegiate mishaps due to the worst offensive situation imaginable; shame on you.

He's a really smart and hardworking kid. He also has tons of talent.
Just because under the lights he panicked and couldn't operate well under pressure doesn't mean he can't be a great QB coach.

Very happy for the dude. Has clearly done a great job of developing into an adult and respected football "industry guy". Hate all you want about his playing career (probably mostly not his fault), but he is making something of himself and i think its awesome.

This guy must be a great interview

It truly is incredible how low you’re willing to sink, while also vehemently defending Orgeron with every ounce of energy you have
You are a sad, pathetic person

Sean Payton was an NFL scab QB that sucked.
But he can coach offense and QBs like a motherfricker.

It is incredible to me how fast this kid’s stock is growing in the coaching ranks.
Good for him!

Some guys are better at coaching than they were playing.

It’s about time y’all realize the QBs of the Miles era weren’t bad, the system just set them up for failure
13-17 attempts per game, mostly on 3rd and long is a disaster for build QB confidence

Right coaching and this kid could have been rock star.

I may be misremembering.... but was Brandon Harris' father a coach?

There are a lot of coaches that didn't play at all, much less were an all-star caliber player. Think Will Wade, never played team basketball. Those that can't do, teach.
Good for Brandon. I wish him well.
