I can’t wait for r/New Orleans to link this thread calling everyone in it racists because they hate that the shooter was black and no one here has shown empathy for him who obviously was just lashing out from enduring so much internal pain from systemic racism.

As mentioned in another thread, the range I use has signs on the door in big bold letters to have your gun with the action open or in a gun bag. No exceptions.
And a group of shooters got their asses chewed, told to go back out the door, read the sign, and try again because they came in with a clearly loaded pistol. And despite being black, they complied, came back in, then went to one of the lanes.

So he was just an unintelligent black guy with no proper upbringing? Is that the OT reason as to why he did this? There’s a lot of people that fit the description and yet they don’t shoot up a gun range after being told to holster their gun.

My guess is that he had rage issues and/or thought he was being singled out by being told to unload his gun.
Because most normal people don’t respond to that request by opening fire but this appears to have been a cultcha clash.

Is it possible? Yeah anything is possible, but with what is known at this point in time there's nothing to suggest he was mentally ill/bipolar etc
