The Left is fundamentally dishonest. So is the press.
Never, ever expect anything "fair" or "decent" to come from them. They're not good people. They don't do "fair" or "honest".
Until you understand that, you will be tempted to call them "stupid". Sure, most of their Facebook soldiers are complete idiots, just regurgitating the talking points given to them. But most on the Left are happily deceptive, proud liars, and simply bad people.

this is my gripe with all the hoopla.
bad optics? sure. bone headed move? sure.
but the NV governor, Cuomo, Newsom, Pelosi, Whitmer, Denver Mayor, Adler in Austin, etc. all did the opposite of what they told their constituents to do, or worse, violated their own rules.
i don't get mad about rich douche bags doing rich douche bag things. i get mad when they tell others what to do while doing things that their rich douche bag selves can ignore.
to the "staying and helping out..." narrative. i gave heaters to my neighbors without central heating, and helped them shore up some drafty walls Sunday night.
i did what i could. we lost power and there was really nothing i could do. i made sure they had options, food, and water, and then took my family to a friends house with heat.
i have and will continue to take care of my more in-need neighbors, but my priority is always going to be my family.
