Sitting by the fire place contemplating walking on the back porch and smoking a bowl before I fire off about 4 emails that constitute my work load today. Probably skip breakfast, have a Bloody about 10am and start cooking something. The what to cook will be the biggest decision of the day. Until tonight when it will be scotch or bourbon.

My garage hose is apparently leaking and it’s 29 degrees in there. I just unintentionally went ice skating.

Yes and I had everything dripping. House is less than 5 years old but on piers by the water. Too much cold air coming across the lake I guess. I should have shut off meter and drained lines but we were fine the first night so I thought we'd make it again. Also worried about diesel in my truck turning to gel.

F this

About to see if Golden Nugget has rooms.

That sucks. Sorry that happened.

The fear of your situation is why I've been up for all but an hour going around running faucets and toilets every hour or two.

Just an FYI. They make little heaters that go around pipes that lead into your house. We have them around the house and on exposed pool pipes.

Currently -1 in NETx but luckily I'm in a county that is one of the few up here on SPP and not ERCOT. Was just reading an updated article there is still an estimated 2.9M in Texas without power. And now, Ft Worth is issuing a boil only notice for Tarrant. Most can't boil because no power. shite is coming apart at the seams.

GL and do your best to stay bundled up.

I wake up every 3 hours to run the washing machine becuase that line is the only one in my house that scares me.
