There are a large number of people with a decidedly security > freedom stance in life, even if the security is simply illusory (although they wouldn’t perceive it as illusory, obviously)

We're going into week #4 since his installation and it feels like there's been no activity about Biden for almost two weeks since the blitz of EOs from the start. He's obviously not just playing fricking Mario Kart all this time.

The 37-40% range for biden disapproval at this point is far higher than any previous modern president besides trump/

Well, frick. Considering I watched the last POTUS send a mob to the Capitol and post a tweet calling out his VP for not doing something he doesn't have the power to do, I welcome a little quiet boredom from the White House.

LITERALLY the only people talking good about him are the talking heads in the MSM Propaganda Machine. Nobody else. NOBODY.
I don't do the social media thing any more, period... but I haven't yet been able to convince Mrs. TigerAxe to ditch it. She still has the few hyper-prog liberal family members as friends on the FB. They were insufferable leading up to, and after, the election...
Now, they're completely silent. Not a peep. They post about the weather and their walk in the park and the new all-vegan food truck in town, but not a fricking thing about politics. There aren't many of them in my family, just a few. But they're straight up anqueefa members and/or diehard progressive liberals who actually post over on the DU... and they are completely silent about Biden.
I'm pretty sure even the most radicalized of them see all the executive orders and realize it sets an unbelievable precedent. They know that if Trump runs and wins in '24, a precedent is now established for him to go full scorched earth.
