All the news talked about was damning video evidence of the 'insurrection' being used against President Trump.

Considering the current presentation in the Senate chamber, it would bw rather bad timing to cite "divisive rhetoric" on Trump's part.

Most of all because he's a liar and an embarrassment to the United States.
Back to the impeachment trial, the folks who put these videos together put some effort into them. The defense team is doing a good job, and it will be interesting to see what is said on CNN tonight in response. The Chris Cuomo quote in which says something like "Who said protests have to be peaceful?" is funny.
