The CW has officially ordered a pilot for a live action Powerpuff Girls series

The show will be a sequel to the Cartoon Network's animated series which ran from 1998-2005. The girls are now disillusioned twenty-somethings who resent having lost their childhood to crime fighting.

Sadly...I might watch the pilot just to see the train wreck this show will be. No doubt Buttercup (the angry one of the three) will be portrayed as a lesbian in this version. I'm calling it now.

The CW peaked with the first two seasons of Arrow and first two seasons of the Flash.
