I think it’d be kind of funny if whenever Thor does a stunt in the movie it’s clearly some really skinny dude in a cape and a wig.

He was eating like 10,000 calories a day. Just like this stuntman, he said it became a chore to eat that much, and expensive. It wasn’t the working out that was hard to keep up, it was the calorie intake.
Like I said, I’m not saying Hemsworth isn’t on anything, but it’s not impossible to look like that without roids. My buddy was veiny just like that, without roids.

If CH is in such good shape....why can't he do the stunts himself? Even midget tom cruise does his own stunts

Here to add... TIME is something that can't be overstated.
Many moons ago, I got laid off during the dotcom years. The package was stupid, as in, I took a half year off work and just did my own thing.
I moved back east into a friend's spare bedroom. I went to the gym 2x a day. I ran every day. I watched my diet. I played basketball and tennis with friends. I got shredded. I couldn't believe it, and I didn't take jack shiat.
Then, I had to go back to work. And got married. And had kids. And, well, here I am. I weigh the same, but it ain't the same. I don't understand how people find time.
I'm on a conference call right now, I guess I could be on a treadmill.

Because Tom owns the production company for his movies, so he can sign off on it himself. Chris doesn't and it would have to be signed off on by the insurance / underwriting company and they don't want the extra risk.
