Seconded. The preview was good. It's just meh.

I do think they were going for something specific it just didn't translate to an effective movie.

15 years ago it'd be considered a straight to DVD type movie...don't know how else to explain it.

Just get HBO max and stream it. Worse case scenario you got a months worth of HBO content out of it

(Yes the movie sucks)

If you got 2 hours to kill it’s not bad. Slow build up for not a great pay off

Just watching a serial killer movie starring Rami Malek, Denzel Washington and Jared Leto was enough to make it entertaining for me. But, sadly, it’s by no means great. If that’s your genre though- definitely watch it.

As has been established already, it’s like the textbook definition of a 5/10. Always great to watch Denzel for 2 hours but the story was disappointing.
Most of my entertainment taken from the movie was thinking about what could have been done to improve it

First hour was good then it fell off a cliff into a pit of suck very quickly. Would not bother if I were you.

No.

If you already have HBO Max then give it a try... but it's a mediocre movie at best.

I wouldn’t even waste your time. It’s ceiling is like a 5/10. You’ve likely seen this movie before and it was likely better that time.

I thought Rami Malek was distractingly bad in this movie.

He needs to find other jobs Freddie Mercury could have done and play those roles in movies.
