she clearly didnt not conscientiously. i think she found out that SWORD had vision's body, was told they were doing tests on him, rescued him, and then was manipulated by whomever told her about vision (probably hydra) and then the next thing she knows, shes in westview.
I honestly dont believe hydra is involved but if they are I think maybe the Sword director might be Hydra or something.
I think Hydra may have attempted something with Wanda but are in over their heads and the real villain (Nightmare, Mephisto, etc) inserted themselves and is the real villain.
Also, does anybody think that Monica Rambeau already has her powers or they are starting?
I notice she tried to introduce herself to Darcy and Darcy said " I know who you are, Im a big fan" like she was a known hero.
Also the CAT scan only showed a blank screen of Monica, like her powers prevented an accurate scan..but maybe it couldve been cause she had just left the 'Hex' idk

It was an X-ray, and it looked over exposed. So either there was a substance left on her that emitted X-rays or she herself was emitting them. And given that her comic character can do just that, I’m going with her powers are here or emerging.

Starting to wonder if anything Marvel puts out will ever be criticized
You already have enough characters to work with, I can't imagine how crazy this is going to get when they add the other spidermans to the mix along with past villains
These guys all exist in the same world in the comics.
Heck, I forget the overall storyline, but I remembered Magneto in an "anti-hero" mode, wanting to stop another villain- Dr Doom perhaps? He sought the superheroes out for help. X Men were gone somewhere, as were the Fantastic Four, so he went to the Avengers.
If I recall, that group was then-
Cap America
Thor
Iron Man
Vision
Scarlet Witch
Ant-Man
Wasp
Beast (who'd left the X Men).
The Avengers took it as an attack so they fought (imagine that ) and he mopped the floor with them, and then abducted Beast.
I'm reminded of that, because it's very close to the same lineup we see now.

Who was the aerospace engineer that Monica called?
Reed Richards?
Reed Richards?

What 80s sitcom is it referencing?

That was a reference ego the fact that she’d been watching her on TV the past few days.
But I definitely agree Monica’s powers are manifesting.

I think Wanda's "in control", but like the show intro song says- we're making this up as we we go She's powering it and directing the big picture, but she's not in control of everything, and she isn't really sure what she's doing... didn't know there would be twins. Couldn't stop the twins from crying. couldn't (or wouldn't?) rewind Vision this episode... she did that a couple episodes ago, but this time when Agnes suggested it, she turned away. And later, when Vision said she can't control him like the others, she said "oh yeah?" and rolled credits, but it didn't work. Agnes looked genuinely shocked about Wanda 'fixing death' You can do that? Vision is a machine, that wasn't a corpse, it was an android body they reassembled and rebooted. Thanos yanked the power supply, but Wanda has replaced that and reinstalled the OS... hence he's "Vision" but doesn't have memory of before the reboot. That's because he's a fresh build, and not all the old stuff got reloaded. But the OS is still Jarvis-based, so the internet stuff (getting the emails?) is part of his design. And there's enough 'other' in the mix to push him to full sentience (let's admit, Jarvis was pretty much sentient by the time he was blocking Ultron, prior to being loaded into the Vision body). Actual death, as discussed with the dog, is a different concept. Again, Agnes, who knows the script, didn't know about that, nor does Wanda... but the kids are outside her control. They asked about her brother. Now- weirdness increasing. Quicksilver was her brother, that's Quicksilver. Simple math to do deep equation: Quicksilver= 5. 1+4= 5 2+3= 5 and so on. Pietro, the guy who got shot in AOU, is 1+4= Quicksilver. This dude is 2+3= Quicksilver. Not the same, but the same. Deeper dig- if that's really X-Men Quicksilver, then it goes to reason X-Men exist somwhere (another universe); and if anyone could pick up on the sudden weirdness in that universe, Charles Xavier would. Maybe Jean Grey in more advanced form, too.
Elizabeth Olsen is hot

Using an X-ray tube in that scene made no sense. This should’ve been at the least technically a CT scan of her brain if not an MRA.
And the xray was underexposed. Besides all that, all an X-ray will show is some fracture or soft tissue swelling? Very poor performance on whoever the medical consult was for this scene

I took it as her knowing how much of a badass Rambeau is in the real world

What are we thinking about Wanda turning the barrier red? Marking her territory?

I thought Hydra was involved at first as well. Now, I don’t think so. The villain is clearly Wanda. She lost her parents, she lost her brother, she lost Vision, she has cracked up and will do whatever it takes to keep her “family” together in Westview.
I also think Peter is the X-Men Quicksilver. There’s no way they cast him in that role just to make him unrelated to the character he played in the X-Men universe. I think there’s a chance that Wanda really didn’t bring him there though. I think it might have been the twins. They displayed the power to age themselves. I think it’s possible they conjured up that dog too. Wanda told them her brother was far away, not dead. Well, they found a version of her brother, far away in a different universe, and brought him to her. Can’t wait to see what happens next!
