Half the country knows who GeauxJudge is bro. He’s the biggest legend this place has ever seen.

The GFS Para is on crack cocaine. It’s only here to bum $2 from you, me, and every other poster here so it can go buy some scratch offs and beer.

GFS Para is back online as of 12Z and it is showing massive snow for northern TX and N LA on Monday. Between the 2 runs this area looks to get 6 to 20 inch of snow. GFS is snowy but more like 3 to 7 inches. Euro and ICON are 3 to 7 but only northern TX with nothing in LA.

Right, so I think we're looking at two questions.

How much of the cold air splits across the rust belt vs the main mass over the middle of the country?

Are the models underdoing the South and East extent of the cold?

I'm thinking more and more southern Arkansas/north Louisiana get a mix of snow and ice and potentially a significant amount of ice. South LA is going to have a hard time getting snow but could get ice if the cold air layer gets farther south.

Dallas gets snow for the most part.

Should have waves of wintery precip potential with that front hanging out in the gulf.

What everyone up there is saying. Had to cancel a 4 day out and back hike and camping trip around the Mena area. Just going to be too cold and iffy.

Check out this Monday afternoon forecast sounding for Monroe.

Major cold wedge at the surface and a warm nose flirting tantalizingly close to 0c. Column is juicy juicy.

I don’t understand anything about that graphic. Not one thing. I’m not kidding. No portion of anything I see makes one iota of sense to me.

Ok, I’m done now.

How many people besides you talked about that shite a week later? Nobody, cause nobody cares. You can pretend this place is more important than it is so you can feel special, but it's just not. This site is entertainment, that's all. It's not life.

When that happens in Galaga you get a free game, so I’m saying yes.
