I'm mentally worn out watching AMC and BB. I'm tired of being strung along by AMC and BB pumpers promising the moon only to keep pushing that voyage back further and further each day.

I need some actual legitimate tips again. Long-term buys for future retirement purposes. Do I stick to Disney, Apple, VFIAX, and VWUSX or are there others I should add? I'm 35 and won't need the money for at least 27 years but more likely 30 years.

AT gave his top holdings a couple of days ago in his thread. He’s big into ZOM, TSNP, MVIS, RIDE, WKHS, and APDN

most hedge funds are long, less than 2% of their positions are shorts

which made GME a once in a lifetime opportunity that we will likely never see again

anyone who suggests otherwise is 1) an idiot or 2) lying to you to pump their heavy bags

For a 30 year set and forget hold I'd be looking at ARKG or some of the larger holdings within it.

Who knows where genomic science will be 20-30 years from now but I'd bet it is literally life changing in terms of health, quality of life and $$$.

PINS earnings are due Thursday and they should beat expectations. I expect it to jump a decent amount by EOD Friday.

This is true, BB made me money but I'm out now. I should have sold when I was up 400% but got greedy and ended up starting to lose so I sold at 140%.

If you don't need the money for 20+ years, why did you sell BB? Just curious. Upper made a very good case for a long term hold on that one.

You should consider some Spacs. I think there is a thread on here somewhere. If you get in under 11, there is less than 10% downside. Tbh, if you get in under 12.50, as long as it’s a good team, there is very little risk of downside.

Spacs are also a good hedge against the entire market tanking, because they can only go down to 10 while they are still in Spac form.

Spacs also have very high upside. Rumors are typically worth a 25-50% pump. Actual merger deals that are attractive usually pump at least 100%.

I bought into 2 today. SVAC and RBAC. Both are under 10.70 currently. I actually bought the warrants on RBAC because they were sitting at 1.57. Spac Warrants are much riskier, but a lot of times they double or triple the performance of the actual Spac shares if a merger that is appealing to the market is made.

I’m sure that there are lot smarter people than me that can chime in here and support what I am trying to say about Spacs as an investment. Personally, I am in the process of turning 33% of my 401k into short term spac plays. Partly as a hedge and partly to accelerate my returns since I got somewhat of a late start in my 401k and wasted a few years in those blasted Vanguard Target funds.

This whole GME fiasco has gotten me interested in stock investing for the first time. Opened an investment account with Chase (easy from their app since I already have checking/savings with them) and Webull. I know I'm way too late to the game for the ones reddit pushed to the moon. Time to start reading the MB much more often. Might be fun to manage my own account with play money on top of the retirement account I just put $500/month into for someone else to manage.
