Has There Been A Rise In ODs This Past Week In The BR Area?

From what I understand there has been a higher than average amount of ODs this past week in and around the BR area.

There was possibly a bad batch of heroin that had high levels of fentanyl

Either way, I would think that the media would cover this. The problem hasn't just gone away, yet there has been very little coverage or awareness brought to the addiction problem that still exist.

Would would you know this? Where would you hear something like that from? An EMT or something, maybe?

Do you think junkies watch the news? And if they did, do you think this news would make them stop? It has been a threat for years and they still shoot up

Not sure about BR, but a friend of mine in Lafayette that works as a substance abuse counselor said there was heroin with a lot of fentanyl going around there.

If people are more aware that it is a problem, they are more likely to suspect someone... A loved one.. is using.. Maybe help them get help.
