Bought more SRUUF (U.Un) today. Getting close to my 1000 share goal for this year. After Christmas bonus season I want more. Added a bit to my DNN position as well. Trying to save some dry powder for future dips but I'm having trouble not going in heavy here. If the spot price does what we're thinking it will, it's a layup at 2-3x the current price and that's probably conservative.

Uranium stocks are generally down with the rest of the market today. Looking like maybe that will be true for another day or few but the longer term trends still seem favorable.
Anyway the real reason I bumped the thread was to share some information about the sector. The link below is a slightly long read about the sector and mechanics of physical Uranium trading. If people are interested in investing in Uranium stocks I think they should consider reading it a couple times

I agree. The only pinch for me is that the shares that got assigned to me on Friday were in my trading account and not my investment account. Oh well.

Thanks for sharing molsusports. That's a great read.
Sprott added another $2.2B in uranium power=half of global supply yesterday. Nothing, but good news as of late.

I read it once and I think you're right that it may take a few reads to digest all of that info. I'm taking advantage of this dip though. I think it's going to be short-lived and we're ready for the next leg up soon. I'm up to 1800 shares of Sprott, going to shoot for 2000 before the week is out.

Those are my thoughts on the sector.
I do think there are going to be a lot of dud companies in the Uranium industry which never produce significant amounts of material in the next five years. Hell, Nexgen will be a massive producer but people who have listened to their presentations know the earliest year they have said they will produce is 2026.
But the industry is legit in a big way. People who spread around the risk and focus on production should do very well if they are patient

Part of the reason I'm loading up on Sprott. Most surefire way to follow the upward trend of the spot price while also contributing to the supply deficit that makes this opportunity so enticing. Got to my 2,000 share mark this morning. Hoping for a little bit more sideways trading on this until I can get more money moved around because I want to go in for another 1,000 shares before year's end

Added to my Sprott holdings today. Going to keep DCA'ing on this; fundamentals have only gotten better. Wish I was getting my Christmas bonus early because I'm getting low on dry powder.

Which is the hot ticker for SPROTT? See a couple different ones.

Up to 3300 shares of SRUUF. Loading the boat right here with shares trading at a discount to their NAV. Wanted to hit 3000 shares by years end but after I get my bonus check I'm probably going to go for 4000 if we're still trading at this level. It's like owning physical uranium at ~$39/lb. An easy buy in my opinion

Record trading volume in Sprott today. With the turmoil in Kazakhstan (largest uranium producing country in the world) it looks like we're ready for the next leg up.

Anybody adding down here? Kicking myself for not being more in cash for this opportunity. I'm only 100 shares away from holding 4,000 shares of SRUUF though and will likely get there this week. Such a great spot to DCA in my opinion

I am already in about as heavy as I can be and did not take my own warning and got burned on some short term calls.
Incredible how U stocks can drop 40-50% while the news keeps getting better (Yes I know if I pull the chart out it is still huge for those who got in before me).
That being said, the thesis is strengthened everyday - the yearly deficit is growing and growing. The all in cost keeps rising to open mines with inflation and such. Something has to give and then it does it will be something to be seen.
Just wish I had been more patient.

As *long term* investments, I’m adding to both my uranium and lithium positions.

Agree with all of this. Fortunately I've been pushing most of my calls out as far as I can but still wish I had a free $20k right about now. There are so many catalysts coming up and I really hope the Sprott uplist to the NYSE goes smoothly
