Just wow. Spot price up but Sput is maintaining a premium to NAV and raising some serious cash. Let's hope it can stay at a premium and keep this train rolling by buying up more lbs. Equities reacting in a big way
And when they try to deploy that cash..... it sounds like the pounds are not there at the current pricing (seing posts that the sell side has a straggling 100K pounds at $69 and such). They raised enough for over double of that just yesterday and I suspect the ATM was open today.
Nevermind, the other investment vehicles entering the makret. nevermind the utilities sitting short.

Took a position in URNM today. Late to the party maybe but it looks like it’s breaking out.
Sorry guys…that means the top is in.

TBH almost everything does look overbought in the sector if the analytics are to be trusted. So as a blind guess we could see something like a 10% correction.
I'm not doing anything about it since I don't want to try to time getting in and out of things I've been buying for a few years. But I will hold off more buying more for a few weeks and have a little more cash available if another opportunity (like the recent Global Atomic dip) presents.

Yeah it’s been way too hot. Gotta have a shakeout at some point soon

Agree. Be prepared for volatility as traders come in and take profits. If you're long it shouldn't matter. The thesis has only gotten better.

After last weeks expected dip for some profit taking, we’re back running this morning

Apparently Rosatom has put in a market request for U308... Wow. Spot price clear break through $70 and SPUT with more than $50 mil in waiting to purchase. If the broader market drags this thing down I may be freeing up some cash to buy. The fundamentals are impossible to ignore at this point.

Poland just announced this move and aren’t wasting any time getting started. Multiple reasons for this geopolitically, but more nuclear is more nuclear.

SPUT is roaring over the last 30 days. There's a proposal on the table for utilities to be to exchange their shares for Uranium at some point in the future. That's a clever solution for taking advantage of projected scarcity over the next five years

I got into URNM per my post above at around $44 so almost 10% in two weeks….albeit not smoothly.

Volatility is the name of the game. This sector is tiny.

I bought in on LEU, CCJ, and UEC roughly a year ago at $46.46, $23.95, and $4.18 respectively.
They’re all meant to be long holds. Hoping it continues to pay off. I feel very strongly about the uranium market being a stock winner over the long term. Im tempted to cash out some or even all right now, but I will continue to just let it ride for a few years. In the one year I’ve had these positions I’m over 33% on them.

Added some $URNJ and $NXE on today's dip.

Spot making new highs. This thing is quietly chugging along. Hopefully equities can turn more risk-on but I'm not convinced the macro will allow that right now. Glad I own SPUT is all I can say

There will probably be some forced utility purchases (from American utilities) over the next few months that probably move spot more.
The potential for utilities to buy SPUT and redeem for physical Uranium is apparently something Sprott wants to facilitate. Which might move SPUT more than spot price if utilities have no ready alternative

Spot Price just hit $100! Things might get wild out there. Equities still lagging significantly but SPUT has continued to be a monster. Spot price more than doubled in a year and I don't know what it will take to get more u308 on the market.
Crazy times but it seems like we're close to entering the mania phase of this market. When SPUT's share price matches $100 spot-equivalent I'm selling 1/4 of my SPUT holdings as planned. If flows come to this sector there could be fireworks in short order. Bring it on

All my uranium stocks are ripping today.

Yeah I've had a so so week in the S&P but my portfolio keeps going up because of URA

$KAP (world's largest producer) announcing shortfall in production. More bullish news for the sector. $CCJ may be saying the same thing in a week's time. What a setup
