Mark Mangino, former Kansas coach, what happened to him?

How did he not get another job? He was fired for not speaking to his players in a respectful manner and other verbal abuse. He was also accused of poking a player in his chest to game.

In his final 3 years at Kansas he won 28 games. Since then 5 different head coaches have managed to win just 21 games over 11 years.
While at Kansas, Mangino coached in four bowl games with a 3–1 record, the lone loss coming in the 2003 Tangerine Bowl. Additionally, in five of his eight seasons at Kansas, the Jayhawks were Bowl eligible, they were only bowl eligible five times in the previous thirty seasons.

Kansas is such a bunch of pussies for canning him because he was a meanie. That was 2009.
He probably would be executed for being mean in 2020.

I think some P5 school should hire Jim Leavitt. I don't believe he has been a head coach since being fired at USF? He did a great job with that program and even got them ranked to as high as #2 in 2007

Apparently he was legendarily abusive verbally, even for a football coach. Even if he got another job again, he’d have gotten fired in the days of cancel culture.

He mowed down a giant “finish it & it’s free” steak last week. Got his picture on the wall.
And it’s more than KU football can brag about since his firing.

It’s hard to talk to players about discipline when you’re that fat

Seriously can U really trust someone that fricking fat? They constantly lie to themselves. What makes you think they won’t lie to you?
