I can agree with this

He's weak.

We have no idea if this is true or not.

His main resume credit is Bowie St.

And Mike Leach was the OC at Iowa Wesleyan until he got his shot at Kentucky.
Joe Brady coached LINEBACKERS at William and fricking Mary.
Linebackers.

You comparing Brady to Daronte is laughable. Brady is a player and on the way up. Daronte is a plebeian position coach with stints in the CFL and Pop Werner college level ball.

I bet your house float in the Garden district is gay as frick.

Brady was the coffee guy at the saints until he wasn't.

Compare them when they were both hired by LSU.

Now he is. His resume was nothing when we hired him.

Let's see if Jimbo's dickweed nephew wants to test our sideline now. Carter would eat him after Faulk chewed him up. ABC nephew.

Faulk and Carter were on the same Patriots team for one year, 2011. I'm sure that played a role in landing him.

yep. Chip Kelly was at New Hampshire before the Ducks grabbed him.

No one on this board was in the interview with Jones to claim he is weak. This dude obviously showed enough strength in various areas for Orgeron to give him the job

It was still stronger than the resume of our new coordinator and he wasn't hired as a offensive coordinator. Big difference. Nice try.

Brady before coming to LSU:
As coach:
William & Mary (2013–2014)
Linebackers coach
Penn State (2015–2016)
Graduate assistant
New Orleans Saints (2017–2018)
Offensive assistant

Hell no and it's stupid to even attempt that argument. Jones was a position coach for multiple teams in the NFL, Brady was position coach for 1 year at W&M on the other side of the ball. Brady worked out marvelously but his resume was paper thin.

Fingers crossed the reporter(s) aren't getting ahead of themselves.
Usually when it's Feldman reporting it, he has probably heard it from O or someone close to O. He is very close with O.

Not saying it'll always happen that way and that he gets them all right, but he is close to O and generally provides info from O.

That matters. Obviously so does a long list of other things, but that's one of them.

One thing he will bring, that Faulk has already started, is the idea of an NFL style mindset in your everday approach. Faulk preaches routine. Carter will only further amplify that. And that's not just a workout schedule. That's your routine of how you do film review. Drill. Workout.

What that does is increases your efficiency and it will increase the, much needed, focus of the players. The best thing about a routine is it minimizes distractions. And when every hour counts in getting ready for the season and/or the next SEC opponent, it matters.

I would expect that will translate into recruiting (including retention) simply because it is one more thing brought to the table that's equivalent to the NFL. It's one thing to plan to be in the NFL while living the college life. It's another to start living like you are in the NFL while in college.

Dude was coaching in the NFL, and was OC before in college.

I guess he would be "proven" if he were a recently failed head coach!

Just stupid
