I’m just here for the melt from people that know nothing about the guy and are pissed they didn’t get “a name.”

To be fair, he didn't say the best established coordinators in the country.

He hired Joe Brady and people were like WTF and he ended up being the best.

I can't believe I just defended Orgeron, I need to go wash my mouth out.

Blake Baker? Really? Didn’t they just allow 600 yards rushing? And he’s going to be the run-game coordinator?

he also had one of the best defenses in the country in 2019

Aranda gave up almost 500yds rushing to Ole Miss and I would sure take him back

Kevin Steele gave up 70 points but yet is a damn good DC

What spots are left? We still need to add a recruiter or two.

From what Embody said, there was a falling out between he and Diaz. And Diaz assumed playcalling. So that 600 yard rushing is on Diaz.

Yeah, I’m sure he was just the black Rooney stand in for the jobs he’s held over the years. Didn’t do anything on the sideline. Just stood there with a headset that wasn’t plugged in

Well you give an idiot enough rope, he will eventually hang himself. If this is the route he chooses to go, you shouldve just went with Raymond

Well genius, If Corey Raymond wanted to be the DC then he would be the DC.

Would surprise me if Raymond leaves then after this.

A secondary coach doesn’t get to pick his players. I am pretty sure they started multiple rookies and were ravaged by injured on top of that.

Interesting play

DC is a DBs coach...what do you do with your DB coach thats regarded as one of the best in CFB?

But it’s certainly a risky one for O.

Everyone here that’s melting and will be melting over this hire are people that hate O anyway. So they should all rejoice. They don’t like the hire. They think it’s useless and a terrible one, therefore, will eventually get O canned.

I would amend that to say "if Corey Raymond wanted to be A DC then he would be A DC."

Who else was trying to hire Raymond as DC? I mean, since we’re using this same logic. Seems to me ALOT more people more qualified than you think he’s more qualified than you think he is

Ed said he was going to hire a safeties coach after Busch got canned. I think Jones just takes that role and we hire a LB coach and a D-line coach.

How DARE you bring that up, SIR!

No matter the roster, the Bengals and the Vikings should have had 3-4 pro bowlers each to even be considered for this job!
