If a game were to be played today, would he be healthy enough to play?
If not, how does Spring look?

No he hasn’t been medically cleared yet.

I read somewhere last week that he was 80-85% recovered.

What exactly happened to the man?

Appears to be an injury that the medical staff has never seen.
I think nobody may truly know

I’ve never heard of a soft tissue injury taking this long to heal, surgery or no surgery. 8-12 weeks is your typical time frame and that has long passed.

Orgeron was on the Hebert/Detellier show last Monday when everyone was raving about Ryan Nielsen. O said that Brennan was making progress but that he is at about 85% right now.

Wtf did he do that he’s only at 85%
Didn’t someone say his injury would eventually require surgery?

I’m not convinced Myles Brennan is still alive.

It’s called playing QB in the sec with a weak frame

Was the Brennan woman in the title ix (Guice pic) investigation his relative? Secondly, he can see the writing on the wall with these young stud quarterbacks.

Lol somebody should’ve told that to all the SEC QBs who aren’t as big as Brennan. It’s truly sad that we have people who pretend to be LSU fans while hoping for one of our players to have a career ending injury.

Myles Brennan suffered multiple torn abdominal muscles. Both from his pelvic bone and from his hip. Surgery does not repair torn muscles. Muscles don’t regenerate they have to heal on their own. The more severe the injury the longer it takes to heal. Brennan is now almost 100% and is working out and practicing every day.. he’s waiting on a final MRI to be 100% medically cleared. He will be ready for spring and he will be our 5th year senior starting QB in 2021.

Had Myles not gotten injured and chose to return for 2021, you'd have to like LSU vs the field or at least vs the West. A&M, Arkansas, Alabama and Florida will be starting new QBs. It would have been advantageous to have a returning 5th year QB with a year of starts under his belt.
As it is, either way you go Myles or Max you're still developing a QB. Brennan is obviously further along in maturity and game prep but only has 3 starts under his belt as far as dealing with the ebb and flow of a game situation.
