Thank you for your service.

Obviously my statements are not absolute. I know there are great millennials out there.

Keep up the good fight.

America first.

-lack of a moral compass

-gender bending

-disillusioned

-depressed

-defeated

those were the traits of The Lost Generation who brought on the Great Depression but were the parents of the Greatest Generation.

Millennials, so far, look lost too but their kids might be winners.

The lost generation more closely resembles gen-x. Millennials mirror the WW2 generation. Many forget how much the greatest generation loved socialism.

What's needed now is a pragmatic gen-x leadership to prevent the moral crusading boomers from launching us into a civil war and to prevent the socialistic millennials from throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

The lost generation produced Truman and Eisenhower. Hard headed and grounded in reality. If boomer leadership gives way to millennial leadership without gen-x to ease the transition, we are in for a hell of a ride.

There’s more nuance to this than to say this is millennials fault.

First boomers are the leaders that have led the country to where we are currently at. Millennials didn’t vote for Bush, Clinton, or Bush again. The first set of millennials starting voting in 08, but only the 89 and 90 millennials. This didn’t happen over the last 5-10 years. It has progressively happened over the past 30 years. It’s a cop out to blame a generation that are all in there early 30’s or younger and have had no real leadership role in our country to date.

Disclosure I am a millennial. I’m a conservative.

I agree with Tiger0527. I too am a conservative millennial. We are the ones that have had to deal with the fallout from Boomers' policies. There is far more distrust of the government by younger people than you might realize. Now we might disagree on the solutions, but the pendulum will swing back eventually.

Including a robust job market and the economy that lets you raise a family on one full time salary?

A stable society?

An educated populace?

Ok boomer

That's not right at all. The first Presidential election for Millennials to vote in was 2000.

I take my shots at Millennials at times and they are quirky and different but there is pretty large conservative contingent amongst them as well.

Hahaha! I just spit my cereal out!!

Mirrors the greatest generation that fought the greatest war!?! 18 year old kids lined up to volunteer to go overseas.
Millennials are the pussy generation. You can’t get them to get a job, let alone fight in combat. Hahaha!!! Oh I needed that. Thanks!

Some say it’s the boomers , some like to say the gen-x and others say it’s the millennials . While I do agree that the younger generations have it so good it does make life easier/ lazier I will say that all generations have a problem with entitlements . While the life from 1930’s forward has done more to enhance people’s livelihoods way more than any other time it’s the problem of morals within a person . As progressives keep pushing that envelope the morals of people keep getting weaker

Yep. As I said in another post, we now have more people who want govt control over their lives than not in this country, and the kids of the last 30 years care more about that than freedoms cause they are a TV/internet brainwashed generation.

I have a hard time lumping a lot of the older millennials who are 35-40 years old in with the Buddy Holly glasses wearing hipsters.
