Put me a chrome roll bar with some KC's up top and I'd be in heaven back in the day.

aren't they the same as the chevy s-10 from that era? I remember going to tour the GM plant in Shreveport and every 10 or so trucks was an isuzu.
This was built in Japan from what i can tell on a VIN lookup.

That’s universal, not just Isuzu, Joe.

got one for my son for his 16th birthday. it was bulletproof, but not "hey ya'll, watch this" proof. it was a great truck with the best AC i've ever seen.

My father in law had one from about that time. It had about 350,000 miles when he bought it for $1500 and he drove it for another 10 years and another 150,000 miles.
Fuel pump quit and he just bought another truck to drive. He is retired and used it mostly to go to the grocery store and the hunting club.
It would probably fire right up with a new pump and battery.

Good luck getting parts for them... Isuzu pulled out of North America in 2006

I bought one brand new in 1990. $5099.00 with cloth seat, vinyl floors, 5 speed and air conditioning. Drove the piss out of that truck!

Dude my grandpa had a baby blue Pup with a diesel and a manual. That thing couldn’t get out of its own way. I think I could out run it through first gear.

Anyone familiar with early 90s model Isuzu small trucks
The first truck I bought with my own money was a 92 Isuzu. They are hard to find now, haven't seen one in years. They were very dependable and got great gas mileage.

You would change your tune if you saw their crash tests of the old compact trucks (S-10, Isuzu, Toyota, Ranger, Mitsubishi, etc.).

I did have an Isuzu mini truck that was a standard cab.
Nothing fancy, just AC. I did not have to put a dime into it and sold it with 150k miles.

Offset Crash Test of a ‘59 Chevrolet vs a ‘09 Malibu-
Guess which driver would likely have died?

My first truck was a 94 Spacecab. Loved it and ran it into the ground over 200k (it had over 100k when I bought it for 1500 cash). My friend's brother fixed it back up and I sold it to him and he drove it well into the 300k's.
So ya if it runs snatch it up.
