I had a 1990. I was thinking about this truck today actually.

Single cab, no a/c, no power steering, 4 cylinder, 5 speed. It got around 20 mpg which wasn’t very good IMO considering what it was (I believe it had a carb wasn’t fuel injected).

Bought it for $1800 and put about 50k miles, including two 2,400 mile round trip voyages. Only issue was a head gasket. I think I sold it for $500.

Miss that thing.

Fuel pump issue solved by placing aftermarket fuel tank on the roof. Gravity.

I had an Isuzu Hombre in my early 20s. I thought it was fine.
