Yes...how does seeing more of the picture make one understand it better?
For the life of me I’ve never understood how chapters in a book, or acts in a play work.
Give me the conclusion at the beginning!

About 15 minutes of the 90 minutes aired so far have been worth watching
What a bore of a show

Apparently they are possibly two of the young avengers, speed and wiccan. So that makes me wonder is Wanda really having these kids which adds a new wrinkle.

BTW, I never found the actress that plays Wanda attractive, but I thought she was smoking in the second episode.
The frick? Liz is gorgeous.
Also. Great episode. So. At the end. Were those towers creating the world that Wanda is in? Is she trapped in there for captivity or was the world created for her by SWORD because she started to slowly lose her mind after snapping back and this is a safety measure?

They are definitely speed and wiccan since we already know they are tommy and billy and that they have powers. (It was the babies that made the butterflies). Disney has been setting up young avengers for a while now with hawkeye and ant man’s daughters.
For the twins in the comics, one has the speed of their uncle and the other the magic of their mother.

This episode was better, but the sitcom portion was still a chore to watch. Once they get into the conspiracy it gets watchable. I get that keeping it to 26 minutes is an homage to sitcoms, but it doesn’t leave a lot of time for development. Would be nice to get five or ten minutes of sitcom followed by thirty or forty minutes of the cracks in the facade and clues coming forward.

Feige has already vaguely said that once the setup sitcoms are done, there is more flexibility with the length. So expect some longer ones probably mid way. (By that I mean 40 something.).
My prediction is that very soon we will shift away for an episode and have it from sword’s perspective. I think they are just as confused so it wont spoil too much.

Wiccan was great in Kieron Gillen's run of Young Avengers.
I'm willing to admit that the intrigue and mystery are the most compelling elements of the show, but I think there's a lot to enjoy in these sitcom setups. The sets and costumes, and the tweaking of both between episodes, has been visually wonderful. I've been impressed with the uniformity of performances; there hasn't been anyone that's ruined the vibe yet. That uniformity of performance makes the brief moments when characters "break character" work all the better. Teyanah Parris abruptly dropping the shtick when she hears the chirping sound, and then immediately settling back into it, is not an easy thing to seamlessly and subtly pull off. If you're watching while browsing your phone, you could easily miss that the Geraldine character has briefly, totally changed.
Is that kind of stuff a big deal? No. Is that stuff going to keep the Marvel hordes coming back? Obviously not. But they're little details I really enjoy.

Looked like stadium lights to me.
I agree with all the correct people in this thread. That episode was great. This show is awesome.

Lol
Just finished the 3rd. Last 5 min was good and I think the show is going to progressively improve, the first 2 still sucked.
And your analogy is pretty dumb. If the first movie in a trilogy sucks arse you prob wouldn’t watch the 2nd and 3rd.

Except it’s not a movie with a three act structure. It’s a 9 episode series, so it’s essentially the first 10 minutes of the story.
So in turn, it is your analogy that is terrible.

I’d say 2.8, or essentially the first 3 episodes out of 9, would be more like 30%. Lol not “10 minutes”.

It's clear this show isn't going to appeal to everyone
It's more of a mindfrick than a battle. The more confused and immersed Wanda is, the more she loses touch with reality... and with her powers, the more she can then frick reality up. That's apparently the premise they are going with.
She's not a villain, so she wouldn't intentionally alter things in such a disruptive way. But being stuck in this weird state of mind where things are so whacked, she can do things without realizing it.
Wanda is stuck in a dream, and starting to exert her powers, and unaware that she might be doing things beyond the dream when she does. It's like sleepwalking, her powers will extend to the real world.
Most of what we've seen has been within the dream. I kinda expect we're going to see an episode soon where we see the effects of what she's doing.

My guess is that Wanda appeared there somehow after Endgame. Maybe the psychological stress of everything finally became too much for her and that was just where she had her mental snap. SWORD found out about it and cordoned off the area and sent agents in. The agents get pulled into her delusion when directly in her company, perhaps?
Also, perhaps her mind is slowly trying to repair itself (the commercials, the progression through time, colorization, etc)? If that's so, how much worse does it get when she has to be confronted with Thomas and William not actually being real? In this world there are no mutants to "no more mutants" away so what crazy plan do they have for that?

This is supposed to lead into the next dr strange movie. I'm starting to think she might be the villain of that film.

Assuming the story is over after 9 episodes?
Your analogy still sucks arse.
