Divorce..what should I do?

Long story short. Came home from a hike on a Monday and that evening my wife said she’s unhappy, we have nothing in common anymore, and she’s tired of being cruel to me.
Tuesday - worked on dividing assets
Today - wanting to look for lawyers together.
Part of me thinks this is a midlife crisis. Her mother passed three weeks ago and we’ve had major career stress with her job. I’m no saint. I’ve usually just shut down during arguments which has led to bigger issues this year.
I’ve asked for counseling and she says no. That won’t help us find commonality. I suggested we try new things once to twice a month to learn new things in common and she said that won’t help.
I’m 43, debt free, kids are above 18 so no worries there, good career too. Should I keep trying or take my arse out of Nashville and move to the beach or Montana? Will I be okay?
There may be a Jody, maybe not. I’ve been looking and haven’t found anything yet. She works at home and may leave the house once a month. Even if there is there’s nothing I can do about it.

Filed for divorce in April 2020. It’s not so bad.

Don't mind me. Just saying I am here.

If she is unwillingly to work on it there is nothing you can do

Go for Montana.
There probably isn't a jody, she may be mature enough to want to do that after divorce and thinks it will be better on her own, it won't.
Good luck

Sounds more like a business decision than a matter of the heart.
It takes two to make it work though. If she has checked out, then it will be an order of magnitude more difficult.
Good Luck. Without common cause or common ground, you are facing a difficult path toward reconciliation.

This is probably the right answer and if I'm the OP I'm giving the divorce and running free with the wind.
