Given that it is entirely unconstitutional to deploy the MIL on US soil, what gives?

I thought they were there to keep the peace for the inauguration. That’s over. Why did the US Marshals deputize 2k NG? Why did they ship so much equipment to DC including tanks?

Gosh, I had to laugh at this one!
In online parlance, MIL stands for mother-in-law. I was wondering why it is unconstitutional to deploy the mothers-in-law of this land on US soil!

I've been considering all of this build-up the last few months myself, and I can only come to the conclusion that Q was a CIA psy-op to generate complacency by the decent, and that all of the various actors participated in the events post-election in order to further perpetuate the operation.
Pompeo's Twitter.
Mike Lindell's notes.
Nancy's ridiculous last minute impeachment.
The enormous build-up in military presence for an inauguration of the most popular president in American history (80 million votes).
Flynn's pledge.
Emergency broadcast rumors.
Everyone asking for prayers and God to intervene.
Absolutely no real declass.
Who ordered that much military to DC?

I think it was stupid, but it is not unconstitutional to deploy NG on US soil, it happens all the time.
Federal troops are another story entirely, and requires special consideration.

POTUS controls the natl guard .
Trump had to be trolling them.
When he sent the crowd to the capitol he wanted to show them his power.
When he sent the guard to the capitol he wanted to show them their weakness.
The man is the greatest troller of all time. GEOTUS

The National Guard was in Title 32 status for the Inauguration protection detail. The Active Duty Title 10 forces there are allowed to participate in the event...not the security actions.

I haven’t heard a theory that makes any sense. A Q CIA psyOp is very Alex Jonsey. Trump doing all that to troll them doesn’t make any sense either. There was a reason they were there and we’re not privy.

My guess? It's because POTUS Trump invoked the insurrection act and handed this off to the military days ago now. I wish it would come to a close. We may not even still be at the precipice. Imagine Biden turning the military against his own damn mob (ANTIFA).

There are various reasons, but this time it was under the direction of FEMA. Which as everyone from Louisiana knows, if an emergency is declared under the Stafford Act FEMA becomes the most powerful agency within the US.
Which is what happened under the legal pretense.

It’s a theatrical play. In 15 years, it will be known as “the suicide, the heart attack, and the murder of 3 patriots.”

Ever hear of executive orders? Are military tribunes public record? Did they feel having a “visible” Trump would be too divisive? Are they keeping the military in place in DC? I can’t grasp the idea of Trump riding off into the sunset defeated. Is he the type to do that?

The National Guard is not regular Army...they do their basic with the Army but still, they're considered week-end warriors. They go home after basic and/or AIT but regular Army is in it for the duration of their enlistment period.
GO ARMY! GO TRUMP!

It’s statutory, not constitutional. It’s called the Posse Comitatus Act.
It does not apply to the National Guard. Technically it doesn’t apply to the Navy or the Corps either.
Bottom line: You can use the National Guard.

We literally rolled tanks and the actual Army through the streets back in the Great Depression to shut down a WWI Vet protest.
Yet here we are. Both sides act like this has never happened before but it has.

Shows POWER and CONTROL over the peasants, "We, the People". Nothing short of symbolic ala Russia and China.

I’m not that familiar with the NG so please correct me if I’m wrong, but the weird part is how the “deployment” is from many relatively small units from around the US. Couldn’t they have accomplished this with fewer, larger units? It’s almost like every state has a delegation

Probably because the left rioted at the last inauguration.

Washington DC is considered a Foreign entity based on it being DC being a corporation...so technically they arent deployed on US soil
