I heard Holder's interview. I don't buy that. Holder made it sound like Payton was taken completely by surprise. I know he has been concentrating on the playoffs, but this the possibility of Nielsen getting the job has been in the news for a month. You can't tell me that Payton didn't hear about it some kind of way. LSU thought they were doing the Saints a courtesy by not bringing this up during the playoffs.

He's probably mad that O did more with 1 Saints resource (Joe Brady) than he has done with all the Saints resources in the last decade following the Super Bowl win.
