Albert Brooks was the homerun hitter!

Except for AC, I don't know these other two...

Eddie Gaedel, the shortest player in MLB history at 3 feet 7 inches, made a memorable plate appearance for the St. Louis Browns in 1951, wearing the number 1/8.

My grandpa, a huge fan of the St. Louis Browns, was at that game. He was horribly disappointed when the Browns moved to Baltimore to become the Orioles in 1954.

That Indian gal pic is a chick that went by Sacheen Littlefeather, born Maria Louise Cruz who was used by Marlon Brando to speak on his behalf when he won the Academy Award for his role in "The Godfather". In her speech she denounced the treatment and portrayal of Native Americans in film and in other parts of their lives.

Come to find out later that she was not a Native American but Hispanic in heritage when her own family came out and denied them having any Native American ancestry in their family.

John Wayne was backstage and was irate enough he wanted to hurt her from what I remember. It was reported that it took 6 security guards to keep him behind the scenes backstage.

Many moons ago I read a Doc Savage story where Doc and his gang chased the bad guys to Africa in Autogiros. The bad guys escaped in a blimp.

Haven’t seen a autogiro in a long time. They never really caught on over here in the states. The British, Germans, Japanese and Soviets however took a keen interest in them.

Kinda like the ad from the 70's or 80's with the old guy dressed like an indian who cried because of litter.

I think he was Italian not native.

Yep. "Iron Eyes Cody", born Espera Oscar de Corti (of Sicilian descent) in Kaplan, Louisiana.
