I know with the coaching searches it's taken a back seat but it's been pretty damn quiet on how he's healing.

Is he expected to be full go by spring?

I hope Brennan comes back full strength and competes for the job, but this should teach Orgeron a valuable lesson about clearing the depth chart to make a guy feel comfortable. Nothing is guaranteed, including health. Get the best room you can and make them earn it.

I hate it for Brennan.. but max has that attitude/swag with the killer attitude. And he established some nice chemistry with our returning receivers

An ideal scenario would be Brennan coming back healthy, lighting up the scoreboard, and going to the draft. That lets Max, TJ, and Nuss compete for 2022

Orgeron wanted Brennan to be the starter and not transfer out. The rest of the QB room was two true freshman who nobody expected to contribute year 1.

Does that sound like ideal roster management?

Really looked the part leading the team back from two games down and a losing record.

If he hits the weights hard, puts on 10-15 lbs of muscle, he'll be hard to beat out. Not sure he can gain that much muscle in one off-season though. But, his game would be improved with some more bulk; he's a little thin for his frame.

Peter Parrish got into rape allegations, Orgeron didn’t process him.

Idiot.

He was off the team before spring practice. Burrow didn’t come until summer of 2018.

That’s not what you said. You said O cleared the QB room. Was depth shallow? Yes. Did O run QBs off? No.

Your first and second statements aren’t close to the same.

Who did Orgeron mismanage at the QB position?

I absolutely love Max Johnson, but if Myles comes back 100% healthy I really do think Coach O gives him the go! He has earned it waiting his turn but even with all that said I can see Johnson getting the start as well. One way or another it's a nice problem to have for a change!

What does kinda scare me a little is that it is so quiet on his injury! We have heard so many different things. That it is career threatening and such!

People need to stop repeating this. You earn being a starter by being the best player. If he is, great. If Max continues to progress and outplays him in practice he should start.

He was only on pace for 4500 yards and 45 TDs before the injury, I think that constitutes as earning it.

The weird thing is that there seems to be no social media push about Brennan rehabbing and no mention of any surgery or procedure. I have heard rumors that it was a career threatening injury, but wasn’t going to ask some of his family members I know. With the way Max finished the season, it’s hard to imagine that he isn’t going into spring ball as QB1. Still think you lose TJ Finley after it becomes even clearer that it’s Max’s job.
