McGregor was humble in defeat, unlike wretched Rousey and her crybaby arse.

The problem is that CM got paid and lost his hunger and drive.

Crazy talk. Mcgregor fought his arse off and looked good. Dustin made an adjustment and mcgregor didn’t.

Conor will be fine, he just needs to shake all that rust off and continue to get more time in the octagon

Conor looked sharp early ;landed several clean shots & shoulder shots too on Dustin in the 1st Round that he won.
But Dustin gained confidence landing a shot of his own later on. His kicks were devastating .. two that gave Conor the "dead leg"...that was the beginning of the end!
BET they fight a 3rd fight in a year or two.
Dustin has improved greatly & been more active. Conor hadn't fought in 371 days; he now realizes that was a mistake.

In a way, I think all the boxing training may have actually hurt McGregor in the long run.
At times, he looked like a straight stand up boxer and not a well rounded mixed martial artist. His Muay Thai has gotten way less used. Go back and watch that Aldo and Diaz fights.
It seemed he was kick first back then a d throw unorthodox hand shots off of that.
Tonight, he looked like a traditional boxer and squared up a lot. His upper cuts and jabs are all far better than they used to be and look like a real boxer, but he also seems to have sacrificed some of his kickboxing.
Don't know if that's a good thing or bad thing, but it definetly would have helped him tonight. If Porier got a few calf kicks back he would have to pull back.

The only thing he lost is his “mystic”. Diaz removed his invincibility, he got lucky early fricking with Aldo and others’ minds. The boxing mayweather looks like more of a joke. He’s ok right now at 155 but not the top striker, wrestler, nor combo.

Right...is that why he’s 3-3 in his last 6 mma fights? And one was with old arse cowboy Cerrone. This is all after his his peak when he KOed Aldo.

He was eating leg kicks to death and it was the mid 2nd round. Sure he had the better of the exchange punching but with a history of him gassing out, those leg kicks was going to do him in. And Poirier already took him down once in R1.

Just saw where Conor left the arena on a crutch. DP really smashed that calf.

He admitted it during the post fight interview. You go back and watch their 1st fight and compare Conor last night and see 2 different fighters.
But this fight is devasting Conor. We’ve seen lose by submission (khabib, Diaz). However, we never seen him get beat getting KOed at his own game standing up which is what he does best.

I understand how he lost. Even Dustin said that one of conors punches flashed him and if Conor had followed up with another punch he would have been in serious trouble. Conor is still a contender, he just met up with a top level contender that wanted it more. This fight meant way more to Dustin than to Conor. The only question is does he need to do this anymore. Even Dustin alluded to himself not having that killer instinct anymore even though he knows that he can beat anyone and his skill is the highest it’s ever been.
