I see 6-2 260.

But ray parker was anywhere from 6-5 235 to 6-4 285.

So I’m not sure if he’s changed weight. But is he a leverage-winning SDE?

247 profile says:
A large body that doesn’t carry much bad weight. Should be able to add more size once in college as arms and legs haven’t really developed. Has a low center of gravity which allows him to bend out on the edge and get to the quarterback. Comfortable as a stand-up pass rusher, but could eventually move inside given measurables. Has a quick first step, but lateral movement an area that can be improved. Same with ability to take on blocks.

Probably SDE because of our strength at DT

Also, it depends on the front. If the new DC runs multiple fronts he could be an end in 3-3-5, but inside when geaux to a 4-3 or nickel.

Reminds me of another SDE we had a few years ago. Produced well. Never really did much in nfl. Was good with finances I think. Can’t remember the name. Was a shorter guy but had a knack for getting sacks and pressures.

Idk about needs

Last 2 classes:

Roy, Guillory, Taylor and Smith.

I dont Think we can take 1 DT too many years in a row, but 4 over 2 years isn’t a crisis.

That sounds like a terrible description. He is 6'2" and doesn't carry much bad weight at 260lbs but he doesn't have arms and legs. So no arms, no legs but he is 260lbs. He must have abs like keiland had calves.

Let me know when y’all decide. I’ll call coach and let him know where to play him.

He is a DE and would be wasted at DT unless on passing downs. Watch his highlights and you see an elite athleticism with great big man speed. If this guy has his head screwed on straight he will be one of the more pleasant surprises out of this class.

He might be a Dwight Freeny clone. He’s close to the same measurables.

That is an excellent comparison. Langston has similar athleticism as well. What remains to be seen is if he has the character and perseverance to be great.

That’s how I feel. People get bogged down by measurables with DEs sometimes, and I get it. But if a guy can get after the passer, he can get after the passer.

I think he’d be a great DE and move him inside on third downs. He’s gonna be a versatile utility DL for LSU.

You know who else was 6-2, 260 in high school and athletic?
