They've gotten the number 1 recruiting class for like the last decade. One more title isn't going to change anything bub.

Does anyone really believe this? I think it is just a simple-minded message board take.

LSU won a national championship last year. Did it hurt Alabama's recruiting?

If Alabama gets their arse kicked tonight, do you think it will hurt their recruiting?

Alabama and LSU are established programs. A kid is going to go where he wants to go whether Alabama wins or loses tonight.

I don't like OSU but I don't like Bama a hell of a lot more.

I hope OSU blows them out

You can tell Alabama is a very focused and motivated team this season, and I think being left out of the playoffs last year is a big part. Saban would nevery allow a total collapse the following season but probably makes Bama slightly less dangerous in 21 if they enter as national champions. I rather them win for that reason not that it brings me any joy.

A Bama win tonight hurts LSU twofold. Obviously Bama adding another title. The other is Texas is ready to start pumping out that Sark won the NC. They’ve already started and it will only get worse with a Bama win. I completely understand every LSU fan pulling for Ohio State tonight.

this is correct. Rational people understand it - but the Bama hate is too strong for some folks.

I'm one of the few willing to admit I root for all SEC teams. I want all them to go undefeated, except for when they play us.

There's not only pride but a lot of advantages from being the strongest conference. And I want the SEC to be the best.

So I'm pulling for Bama tonight. I know a lot of others on this board are too, but are afraid to say it.

if bama winning meant Saban would retire I would be saying roll tide.

I really hate both schools. IDK who I want to win.
