Kellen Mond was 30-1 the other day. It’s because Brennan hasn’t come out and saying he’s officially coming back.

It's his third OC. Canada 2017. Ensminger was OC 18 to 20, but the offense changed dramatically over this time.

Any way, much respect to Myles for sticking with LSU. True tiger.

But wasn’t Cam Cameron OC when he came on board with Les.. or was recruited at least. I count that.

If brennan’s chances of starting are not better than 65% then he should transfer imo

This is his only shot and he cannot afford to let it go

I wish it were not so

Brennan is not a better processor and his pocket presence is significantly worse than Johnson. Brennan is terrible when pressured and on 3rd down. He also can’t evade a rush.

was Joe Burrow a "true tiger"? Didn't sign with us and was only here 2 years.

Can we please stop will all of this nonsense. Guys want to play, and whether they stay here 5 (or 6) years, or whether they transfer in and play 1 year doesn't matter.

As long as they give it their all, they're a Tiger.

The only record that matters is W or L and he’s 1-2. One win coming against vandy. Get outta here with that. Max’s stats are better and came against better competition.

It is ALWAYS a huge advantage to have the best qb in the SEC. if you have that guy, he plays.

Very debatable.

This could of course change if Brennan is limited or misses spring ball or fall camp, but if healthy, I would expect him to start against UCLA.

The only way I see this changing is if Brennan doesn't take the first snap in fall practice. Even with an "open" competition, I believe Brennan is too polished to do anything to lose that advantage in practice and limited contact scrimmages. I am not saying he is the best QB we have moving forward, just that he will likely be the first man up to prove it.

Johnson, Finley, or even Nussmeier may very well be the guy at some point in the season, but I just do not see it happening from day 1 if Brennan is 100%.

I like Brennan and I respect his dedication and commitment to LSU. With that being said, however, I think Max played much better in a number of ways. When receivers were covered or the LBs were playing off, he used his feet to take advantage of the situation. When his first option was covered, he quickly went to his second and third option. I think his biggest advantage is his poise as a QB. Against Florida, on the road, he looked like a seasoned veteran out there. That's very impressive for a true freshman.

Its unfortunate but Myles will start and play until the first time he is really popped and then it will be the Max Johnson show again for the rest of the year.

His injury and the lack of muscle, weight on Myles is not going to protect his injury from not getting worse every game he plays.

I also think tj has some tools if he doesn't transfer.
What tools do you see?

He has a strong arm.

That's the only tool I see and it's worthless unless the other "Tools" are firmly in place.......

Who you play and who you are throwing to MATTER.
MB has a nice arm good touch--has not shown he knows when to pull the trigger--waits to long to decide and make progressions--wish this wasn't true and he may improve, but been in the system a while. Also, not much mobility.

I don’t know who will win the job but Max Johnson is clearly the best run/pass QB. Which is the type of QB needed to run this Brady type offense

Max is gonna start.
Maximus fits the Joe Burrow mold and that's what Peetz and Mangas are looking for in a QB to run their JB Offense.......
