Are gas prices going to go up again?

I remember the Obama years when it was over $4 or $5 a gallon here one summer.

Without question. All you have to do is listen to Biden talk about his plans for the industry.

They're already working on it. Up at least 15 cents a gallon in the past 4-5 days

Undoubtedly. Biden will reinstitute all the Obama era regulations, pull permits/deny new ones and we'll be at $4/gal again, dependent on foreign oil.
On the bright side oil will be $100/barrel again.

Time to reinvest in truck nuts.

You do realize higher gas prices is better for the US oil industry, right? It costs more per gallon for the US to pump oil than OPEC. Oil price below US costs means our oil industry has to cut production.
Raising the oil price will backfire on them.

US oil production nearly doubled under Obama.

Doubtful, OPEC+ could crush prices again at any moment.

If people start driving again to pre-COVID levels, of course, the price of gas will go up... and hopefully they'll anticipate the rise in demand correctly and not be caught with a shortage.

The largest expansion of US production in history came under Obama and the oilfield boomed.
I did not care for the asshat but can we at least attempt to be factual instead of making up lying bullshite because it makes you feel better.

Yes OPEC is cutting oil production and a large refinery in south east Louisiana was recently idled. Supply and demand. Also North Korea is gonna test out Biden first thing calling for nuke testing and future strategy to bring America to their knees. China also ramping up authoritarian rule in Hong Kong. The world is getting nervous about Biden being the leader of the free world to challenge and push back on his China overlords.

It should go to $0.
Biden himself said he was getting rid of fossil fuels completely.

Neither the poster I replied to nor myself mentioned Biden but you keep screaming at the sky snowflake.
I you want an answer to the OP then yes fuel prices are and always were going to double regardless of who is POTUS.
Anyone who understands supply and demand has been well aware of this since November 2014.

Where are you at in Alabama that you're seeing a drop? Because they haven't been dropping anywhere in the Birmingham area or surrounding areas. I live about 15-20 miles north of Birmingham and my local gas station saw a $0.06 increase overnight one night last week.

I think they will continue to rise. A lot of what we are seeing now isn't even a result of Biden. It is actually the result of increased confidence in the oil industry that there will be a rebound in demand this year. They, of course, want to cash in on that increase, so oil prices have soared. Once Democratic plans for oil/gas start getting passed/implemented and the cost of production goes up, prices will go up even more.

Just watch truck nut stocks. That’ll tell you everything you need to know.

They’ll go up and the Ds will blame it on trump.
