By Apple's logic, yes.
ETA - which is also utterly terrifying bc they have access to your phone to "update it." So just take that to its logical extreme. You can own a phone, you just can't use it. Agreed. Wednesday was awful and yes I put a lot of the blame on Trump. However, the response to that is going too far imo. Especially the impeachment.

Apple has tons of rules for APPS on their devices. You can't have an APP that allows public posting of nudity, for example.

I would submit that this is much different. Apple is more like a utility in this situation. Can a utility decide you no longer deserve water, power, phone communication etc...?
