from what we were told, he basically tore some abdominal muscles off the bone. I am not sure if they decided to have surgery or not but when the options are surgery or rehab, I have never seen rehab work and the athlete always ends up getting surgery eventually.

You do. He played almost the entire second half vs Mizzou with it too.

Torn abdominal muscle. They never came out and said it, but sounds like a sports hernia.

sports hernias have like a 6 week recovery time. No way that's all it was.

Tore his oblique completely off his pelvis. Not a lot of surgeons want to touch this type of injury in a young athlete.

It was never a sports hernia.

I think it was a muscle, in lower ab area, but also attaches to the hip area?

I've also heard various reports (mostly on this board) as to the nature of Brennan's injury. What is puzzling to me, and concerning, is that we have never heard a peep about his status, the nature and progress of his rehab, etc. I know there are privacy issues involved with anyone's health status, but usually with serious sports injuries players and teams like to provide updates on a player's progress. (We saw an example of that recently when the short video of Joe Burrow gingerly walking on his repaired leg was released.) Coach O mentioned Myles a couple of times in the weeks immediately after his injury, but nothing since then. I just don't know what to think of the fact that we haven't heard or seen anything from or about Myles in months. I hope he is doing well, but I can't help being concerned for his future.

Myles has two torn ligaments and although surgery was at one time considered, the docs feel like the injury is healing fine on it's on so there are no plans for surgery. As of about two weeks ago, his family felt like he was at about 75/80%.

Will the QB's shoot it out in Spring ball to see who starts?
Or is Brennan the starter? I enjoyed watching Brennan drop deep balls but Max has an arm as well.
