Is Trevor overrated?

Sure he plays well against ACC opponents but when he goes against great competition, he looks fairly average. Am I completely wrong here? Serious question

IMO he's this weird thing where the whole isn't greater than the sum of the parts, even though all the parts are 10/10

He’s not as flawless as you’d expect based on the hype but he checks every physical box you could ever want.

He has all the physical tools. Jury is out whether he has the "it" factor. He hasn't had much opportunity to take a team on his shoulders when the chips were down, and when he has, he's come up short.

He is a good prospect. He has one great game against a top talented team and that was freshman year. And it was an amazing performance. Since then, he has plenty of stinkers against lesser competition and just average against top notch teams.

Yes I think he is. He’s good not great. He gets the benefit of the doubt from playing a weak schedule with a loaded team

He's good but I never saw him as the next great thing since Manning, Luck, etc like he's been hyped up to be.

He is VERY good. But yes, I think he is overrated.

He’s got all of the physical tools and is an elite college QB.
He’s not finished product like everyone assumes he is though. There’s room to improve.

He’s one of those guys that can win a game with his physical skills regardless of how good the other’s team defense is. But he just hasn’t been consistently great (especially with the offensive explosion in recent years) like you would hope from a “can’t-miss” prospect.
