The Dream Team would win?! Are you kidding me? Yall are naming all these people that were in their prime on the Dream Team. So nobody on the Redeem Team is in their prime? This is not as cut and dry as you all are making it.

Better inside presence and better shooters.

Yes it is. The dream team was the best team ever assembled...ever. Nobody even came close to touching that team.

+1.
I'd venture to say that Magic, Bird, and Jordan could handle the current team by themselves.

Throw in Shaq and Sir Charles and its good night, end of discussion.

Christian Laettner would kick their asses.

is it really that hard to click on the thread titled:
The RANT on 1300 ESPN w/ Sonny Shipp
Heck, they even stickied it at the top so stupid people who don't know how to use the internet could find it.

magic had been retired for a year.
byrd was past his prime in 1992.
Jordan, barkely, and ewing could handle the current team.
thats where the current team would have trouble. not enough big men.
Dwight howard is a little boy compared to ewing. bosh is nothing compared to robinson. the redeem team would have to have carmelo guard a big man; and he sucks on d anyway.

I do think this team gets up and down the court better than that team....Lebron is playing very, very good defense. This is a very good team especially on defense. They would not line up as good in a half court set, but on the run they are as good as anything I've ever seen.

Shaq should have been, but they picked Laettner instead. Laettner contributed ZERO to the Dream Team. Shaq would have been a force on that team, even though he had never played a game in the NBA at that time...
