I'm not reading the tweet but Gilbert's QB at Marietta, Bailey, is the QB at UT. Not a reach to believe he could end up at UT. LSU has 3 Qb's better than Bailey, but UT is a lot closer to ATL than Baton Rouge.

Maybe Gilbert doesn't want to share targets like he does at LSU. He could go to Tennessee and play with a QB he's familiar with and get a guaranteed 10 targets a game and be the number one guy week in and week out.
Honestly, that's not a bad proposition for him. He'll never win the SEC at Tennessee but he could certainly be a Kyle Pitts type of player and potentially dominate statistically. Not saying he couldn't dominate at LSU but perhaps he just wants to be the focal point of an offense instead of just another guy.
I seem to remember at some point during the season Gilbert didn't think he was involved enough in the offense, if I'm wrong about that please correct me. Pretty wild outcome if he ends up at UT. Possibly a less stable situation than LSU. Pruitt won’t be there in 2022.
